Branding and a website for Endometriosis Cymru

Raising awareness of a disease that affects 1 in 10 women.

Endometriosis affects one in ten people assigned female at birth. Endometriosis Cymru was created to raise awareness of the disease and its impact on the lives of those affected.

Created in collaboration with NHS Wales, Cardiff University and Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales (FTWW), the site is for anyone who suspects they may have endometriosis. It provides information on recognising the symptoms and the diagnosis pathway in Wales. For those with a confirmed endometriosis diagnosis there is information on the ongoing management of the disease as well as guidance and links to available support.

Endometriosis Cymru was built with patient involvement at every step of the process using co-production techniques. We interviewed people with endometriosis about their experience with the disease and included their perspectives in every aspect of the site.

The site hosts a wealth of resources, including information about the disease, personal stories from people living with the disease, practical advice, and tools for both patients and healthcare professionals.
